SocioLadder Holdings, Inc., an Illinois Corporation having a principal office at 330 East Main Street, Chicago, IL 60010, USA., along with its affiliates and commonly owned and/or controlled companies worldwide (collectively "SocioLadder,” "we," "us," or "our") realizes how important it is to protect personally identifiable information and other sensitive data of persons ("you" or "user") who access and/or use (whether as unregistered or registered users) our browser-based websites, dedicated non-browser-based systems e.g. as found on a dedicated application or “app,” and/or any other systems under the control and direction of SocioLadder, collectively the “SustainEverse.” This includes use of the SustainEverse global sustainability networking platform, a member of the SocioLadder group of entities and/or comprising a SocioLadder System, hereafter known as “SustainEverse.” While the terms of this Policy will primarily relate to Users of SustainEverse, it shall apply to all interactions of SustainEverse Users with any and all SustainEverse.

This Privacy Policy (or “Policy”) will set forth how and why we collect, store, and use your Personal Data when you use the SustainEverse. While we use all reasonable efforts to comply with applicable law and regulation, we cannot provide legal advice regarding this Policy’s applicability to you, or whether your use of the SustainEverse is compliant with the agreements you may have with any third party or the laws and regulations of your particular jurisdiction or regulated industry

Other persons and entities, including third party websites or applications with links which may appear on the SustainEverse, will usually have their own privacy policies. When you provide personal information at one of those sites, you are subject to the privacy policy of those sites, not this Policy. Please take care to note which site you are on/which system you are using, and what privacy policies apply, before submitting Personal Data

BASIC INFORMATION / NATURE OF SOCIOLADDER
PURPOSE OF THIS POLICY

This Policy provides information on how SocioLadder collects and processes Personal Data through your use of any of the SustainEverse, including any data you may provide when you register with or sign in on any of the SustainEverse

It is important that you read this Policy together with any other notices we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing Personal Data so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using Personal Data.

USERS UNDER THIRTEEN (13) YEARS OF AGE

The SustainEverse is not intended for use by children and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data relating to children. The SustainEverse is not intended for use by persons under the age of thirteen (13) without the consent of a parent or guardian. No one under the age of 13 may provide any personal information to or on the SustainEverse without such consent. If you are under the age of 13, do not use or provide any information on the SustainEverse, register on the SustainEverse, make any purchases or donations through the SustainEverse, use any of the interactive or public comment features of the SustainEverse or provide any information about yourself to SocioLadder without consent from your parent or guardian. If you believe we might have any information from or about a person under 13 for which no parent/guardian consent was granted, please contact us. If we learn or are notified that we have collected or received personal information from a person under 13 without verification of parent/guardian consent, we will immediately and permanently delete that information.

CONTROLLER

SocioLadder, collectively, comprises multiple legal entities. This Privacy Policy is issued on behalf of all of SocioLadder so all mentions of “SocioLadder” refer to the relevant and particular company responsible for processing your Personal Data

The SustainEverse may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins and applications. Clicking on those links or otherwise enabling those plugins or applications may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites, plug-ins or applications and are not responsible for their privacy policies or how they store/share/use Personal Data. THE DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

Personal Data, also known as personal information, or personally identifiable information, for purposes of this Policy means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). It does not include aggregated statistical data regarding multiple persons or entities if that aggregated statistical data cannot reasonably be used to identify a particular person or entity.

Depending on which of our products and/or services you use and how you interact with the SustainEverse, we collect may different kinds of information from or about you. We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of Personal Data, including one or more of the following sub-categories. Note that a data record can include more than one sub-category of Personal Data: we will always apply the highest reasonably applicable sub-category of protection to such data records.

  • Identity Data includes first name, last name, mailing address, residence address, username or similar identifier, marital status, title, date of birth and gender.
  • Contact Data includes billing address, delivery address, location, email address and/or telephone number.

    NOTE: Making Donations

    When you make an online donation through a SocioLadder System, in addition to the already collected personal information, we collect information about your donation, including the program/project you are donating to and the amount of your donation. If you use Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, PayPal, et cetera, their usage is based on the issuer/processor terms of service and policies, not ours, so we encourage you to review their policies separately.

  • Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and transaction history which does not include bank account and payment card details.
  • Technical Data includes internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, make and model of access devices, operating system, hardware version, application platform, device settings and other technology identification on the devices used to access the SustainEverse, file and software names and types, time zone setting and location, device locations such as through GPS, Bluetooth or WiFi signals, browser plug-in types and versions, information such as the name of your mobile operator or ISP, language settings, and unique mobile device identifier information
  • Profile Data includes your interests, preferences, feedback and survey responses
  • Usage Data includes information about how you use the SustainEverse, products and services including redemption of our offers, how you use your devices to access the SustainEverse, including the screens you visit and searches you make
  • Special Categories of Personal Data includes details about your race or ethnicity or religion.
  • Other Data includes:
    • photos or other data uploaded onto any of the SustainEverse by you or shared with other users of the SustainEverse by you via the SustainEverse;
    • communications with us via social media platforms, email, electronic messages and other electronic and non-electronic communications;
    • third party partner information related to how you use our third party partners, such as your reviews of our merchant partners or other service providers
    • Your social network and connections made available to us (depending on the permissions you have granted) from your address book contacts and/or other social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter.
  • Marketing and Communications Dataincludes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third party partners, and your communication preferences

We also collect, use and share aggregated data such as statistical or demographic data for various purposes. For example, we may aggregate Usage Data from multiple users to determine usage patterns for SustainEverse features. However, if we combine or connect aggregated data with your Personal Data so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we will treat the combined data as Personal Data.

We do not collect the following Special Categories of Personal Data: your philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data. Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences. If we require such information in association with providing a particular User with a particular product or service, we will advise you specifically at the time it is requested, tell you why we need it, and what we will do with it. You will have the option not to provide it at that time, though that may mean your ability to use our products and services will be limited or denied entirely.

SPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING BIOMETRIC DATA: We do not collect biometric data (such as fingerprint data, facial recognition data, or other biologically-related personally identifiable information.) To the extent that you use security systems and features on your own devices or as part of your own software which collects or confirms biometric data for security, identification, or any other purpose, we expressly disclaim any responsibility for such data if it is passed to our systems by your own, other than that we will make all reasonable efforts to prevent such data from being stored in or on our own systems. By using our systems, you agree to hold us harmless for the transmission, transient storage, or inadvertent concatenation of such data with other Personal Data which you may have given us permission to read, access, store, or otherwise use or process. You agree that your voluntarily uploading photographs showing identifiable human beings (whether they are identified at the time of upload or not) shall not constitute the transmission of, nor shall our processing, use, storage or display of such photographs constitute the use or processing of, Personal Data.

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS:

While our Privacy Policy already offers ample opportunities to opt out of our use of your Personal Data in ways you do not want us to use it, we’d like to point out in particular that you have certain Personal Information Sales Opt Out and Opt In Rights as required by California law

When we need to collect Personal Data under applicable law or regulation, or under the terms of a contract we have with you, which you are a beneficiary of, or to which you are a party by operation of law, and you decline to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to provide you with access to our products or services. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you if this occurs

Furthermore, without the ability to store certain persistent data regarding you, portions of our website may not work correctly.
